  • Barbara Ladon

    Barbara has over 25 years’ experience providing strategy, business transformation, management and program development, and community and company-wide assessments of business policies, processes and formal practices. Barbara’s consultation includes strategic and operational assessments, developing future state models and roadmaps, and working collaboratively with client teams to design and implement business solutions. Her business acumen enhances her approach to partnering with senior executives, business process owners, and community leaders to develop strategies, policies and procedures to implement organizational values and goals.

    Barbara was the Director of the Colorado CHIP program (CHP+) and a member of the Senior Management Team of the Colorado Department of Healthcare Policy and Financing providing overall policy and program oversight. The Department constituency includes over 500,000 underserved and disproportionately minority individuals and communities.

    She has served as Vice-President Government Services for United Healthcare corporate during which she managed process assessments and designed and implemented innovative solutions to serving underserved and often minority communities across the country. She was an owner of HealthPro, a national evaluation research and care management firm where she also directed the Evaluation Research and Program Development units. Previously, she was a research faculty member at the University of Virginia supporting multiple federal and state evaluation contracts related to Human Capital and community planning efforts.
